I recently saw that Signing Time! is coming out with their second series of DVDs, so of course I had to write and let all of you know who may have not yet heard! They look like they’re going to be very cute. (Is it obvious I’m excited about these?) We love these videos at our house. My kids will watch them over and over again, and I’m very excited for this latest set. According to their website<\/a> they are accepting pre-orders from August 1st – September 17th, 2007. They are offering this set with a $10 off gift certificate if purchased before Sept. 17th. <\/p>\n

Signing with our children is wonderful because it provides a bridge to spoken langauge. It is successful because it first teaches them that communicating is powerful when they receive exactly what they wanted after signing the request. I mention more details on this subject in one of my previous posts<\/a>.<\/p>\n
