It’s been a couple weeks since we welcomed little Scarlet into our family and I wanted to share our exciting news! She is our fourth child and has been such a delight to have. Her older brothers and sister can’t get enough of holding her (and of course argue who gets the next turn). It’s been so fun to introduce the older kids to a new baby sibling and so far it seems we’re off to a great start.<\/p>\n

Having been a couple of years already since our last baby, it’s easy to forget how much attention these little ones need. Lucky for me I have a great helper in my 5 year old daughter, Sophie, who is Scarlet’s “second mommy” as she says. This is where most of my time is being spent, at home with my kids. I love it. It is a huge challenge sometimes but it really is rewarding as most of you already know!<\/p>\n

With that said, Mommy Speech Therapy might be a bit quiet for the next little bit, but I have plans to write more articulation related posts. There are many sounds I haven’t covered, and I’d like to get them finished for you, along with their downloadable worksheets.
